Thank you for sharing your memory abt Mr Hall. And it's my pleasure to step into his house yard and spend my wonderful time there.
I've been encouraging my frenz to pay Kelantan a visit after the trip, it is for sure on of the favourite in my list .... and I hope to make it as my yearly event after Cameron :).

Hello there… its good to see more Malaysians from other states like Kelantan… I lived there four year and knew the English gentleman that you speak of .. Just though you may like to know that his name was Mr Ray Hall (converted to Islam and went by the name Johanan Arif) and yes he was very close to the Kelantan sultan. He was the principal of the International School on Jalan Telipot were I used to teach. He was an amazing character, and such an inspiration to all his students and the teachers too. He lived in one of the beautiful chalets that over look the lake. Thanks for your articles it made me reminiscence …

I gave away the number out of politeness, never really wanted to accept his date ..... ahhhh, always try to be polite.

what a fantastic trip you have had... I came across the resort once, but didn't know it is owned by a dutch family... so the trip is quite eventful... a penangite travel to kotabahru, staying in a resort owned by a dutch, and play monkey with a cute french guy... you should have posted the photo of him for us... oh yes, did the date materialised in your first night there?

I didn't put the tale :P ..... Ms Wong is a selected politician in our parliment, too bad that her ex bf release her half naked sleeping pictures to the press, and she has received pressure to call it quit.

Mind you, sleeping naked in your own bedroom is not safe anymore in Msia :| .
