Just though you may like to know that his name was Mr Ray Hall (converted to Islam and went by the name Johanan Arif) and yes he was very close to the Kelantan sultan. He was the principal of the International School on Jalan Telipot were I used to teach. He was an amazing character, and such an inspiration to all his students and the teachers too. He lived in one of the beautiful chalets that over look the lake.
