So, I made a pandan chiffon cake last 2 weeks ago ..... was pretty confident that I hv no problem to make a good one AGAIN . But sometimes, u need a flop to realise u r not that good anyway .

Alright, didn't beat the egg white fluffy enough ..... can I blame it to the electronic hand whisk that I hv just redeemed ??? Guess NO, hehe. No one told me that I need to turn the bowl upside down just to make sure the foam white won't fall, until TODAY .

Guess what ? Going to make another one tomorrow. The whole idea is to make it for my mum actually ..... she can't takes any milk product. Too bad, not able to taste my "famous" tiramisu and choc cake .

Let's hope for a better one, shall we ????

Well, a frenz recommended this ..... get a copy of it from Kinokuniya during my 19 in KL .

Finish reading it on Sat itself ........ and I hv to keep my head up to stop the tears from flowing at the end of the story.

As I always said, read to know that I'm not alone ..... this keeps me going with the life I hv chosen .

KLKK Kia Lai Kia Ki, Juin taught me this Hokkien phrase last time when she's abt to leave her job in SG . It simple means walk around .... either with an aim or aimlessly, all up to you .

That's what I'm going to do at Kinabalu then. Well, some persuasion from my gang, and I'm bk to the trip now .... minus the climbing of coz. Doc still not giving me any green light for sports activities. So, I'm just gonna wonder around the Kinabalu Park, the Kundasang Village ..... taking time for my photography collection (but my hands are pretty shaky thse days ).

Nothing to expect from this trip, just a simple relaxation trip .... aha, probably a cultural dance for my gang when they're bk from the climb .

So, will another "Politic Tsunami" hit the shore again on 30 April ??? Let's wait and see .

Well, that is the total number of hours I hv spend in KL two weeks ago, to catch the Celine Dion concert .

Looking back, wasn't really hv enough of the concert though ...... it only lasted for 1 hour and 45 minutes, abt half of what we usually get from the Chinese singers. Was expected more and more, as Celine Dion seems still hv lots more to offer with her powerful voice. And I didn't really realised that she had actually performed 22 songs that night ..... guess was in a time ward when listen to her singing.

The miracle of the night is that we bump into a secondary friend, ST ..... which we hv not seen for 13 years, phewwww. I saw this fair cute guy moving to the row where we hv spotted, and thought the night won't be too boring after all ....... and when we sit down, turns out this cute guy is our long lost touch frenz .

So, we hv a timely lift from ST, which drive us to the Sentral Station and wait for our midnight bus to the LCCT. Save us from the hassle to "fight" for a cab .

Touched down on PG on Mon morning, hv a yummy prawn mee breakfast ..... and straight down to my bed to catch my 1.5 hours sleep, before show up for my 2nd half day work .

Fun thing to hv this kind of travel, sleeping in the Macd ..... and so far, I found the Macd in Sentral is more comfort than the on in LCCT for sleep in, hahaha.

Hv to somehow officially withdraw myself from the climb this year.

My swelling ligament is still not in the shape for full recover yet. And the doc had advised me not to do any sports in these 2 weeks time, until another review session. Even walking had to be minimized.

With the stop of the training, I wouldn't be fit enough for the climb. And the fear of hurting my ligament again in such a short recovery time will be haunting me along the climb.

Had been feeling pretty down before session with the doc today ..... but once had confirmed on the injury, where nothing serious like ligament or meniscus torn happened, I was relieve somehow .

I hv a frenz who just went thru his knee surgery on Monday, and is now on his long recovery journey. And just find out that my top level boss in SG also just had one on Friday. Thanks God I don't hv to join the club.

Well, am looking forward now for another attempt in 2009 ..... sure I'm out, but I'm not down .

Well, shall see what the doc gotta say on Sat ..... let's hope for the best .

So, it's going to be a musical month for me in April and May .

First I hv the Celine Dion concert on next Sunday ..... thought that I'm gonna skip the concert when it is initially held on 8th, which is a working day. And since it had been postponed to Sun ..... so why not ?? It had been a dream to listen to Celine on live .

Second is the Penang World Music Festival from 2nd till 4th MAY. Glad that the organiser bring forward the date, as to avoid the raining season in July ..... but still I will bring with me the umbrella . Too bad won't hv the chance to meet the cute tabla player from Afghanistan this year , they hv decided to bring in all new faces this year. Let see what kind of suprises we will hv this year .
