My room :)

by tc_how @ 2007-01-30 - 10:19:59 pm

Aha, finally go and develop some of the photos along my travel trips .... just some only as I find most of it are not qualify to be hanged on the wall :)).

Spend 2 hours try to "create" the 2 sided sticker, but by the time I'm writing this blog ..... seems like the sticker already failed in their function. Got to get the real one tomorrow or so.

But nvm, took some pictures of the wall before all the frames fall off maybe in the middle of the night :>>.

And the mee goreng went to the better one :)

by tc_how @ 2007-01-28 - 08:59:36 pm

Hah, so what was it abt the mee goreng(Indian fried noodle) :>>???

Well, if u follow the sports news, then u shld knew that the Aus Open just draw the curtain. And again, Federer Express deliver his goals without any mistake. And that also meant I lost my bet of 1 plate of mee goreng to CH. I won the bet of teh tarik when Gonzalez up against Nadal.

Right after Gonzalez won over Nadal, I hv challenge CH that he will go and win the Open, coz I hv confident he will not hv problem to book a place in the final. Coz I watched his play, up against Hewitt. He remind me of Federer ....... well, a bit of Federer I shld say.

But when I watch Gonzalez play against Federer in the 1st match jes now, I knew Gonzalez still got long way to go, to match with Federer.

So we can jes wait, and wait ....... for another great talent to step out and stop Federer to dominate the games. Nadal can't do it, Gonzalez need to train non stoply perhaps still stands a chance.

But no offence to Federer, I still likes his games, as elegant as always B)

Flexibility, hallo ?????

by tc_how @ 2007-01-25 - 10:47:36 pm

Well, last Thursday everyone was happily went home as we had holidays on Friday, so plus the weekend, it's 3 days off.

HC was telling me that she will be going down to Singapore, I joke with her not to forget to bring a buoy, as Johor is in flood again.

And yesterday when HC is bk to work, I wonder why she didn't join us for the "free & crazy" Japanese dinner on Tues. It was only told that she was being robbed while waiting for the bus to SG !!!!

So she had to been through all the hazzles, to renew her stolen MyKard, driving licence, etc ..... And guess what ??? She was being charged while try to apply all these. Give me a break, someone is a victim here, and couldn't the government be more flexible, that losing all these cards is not her fault at all ...... and shld hv issue it without charge ????? She can always show her police report to prove it.

Well, I hope all of you out there watch out for ur belongings ....... as you know the flexibility is yet to arrive in this country, probably 2020, I hope.

Mission Accomplished

by tc_how @ 2007-01-20 - 10:01:47 pm

Finally ytday finish my grand plan, which is to paint my room ...... this year I decided to hv some brighter color, so I chosen the "butter cream". But now when I sit insides of it, feels like I was in the "Yellow Mansion" .... the hotel where I stay in my previous Malacca trip not so long ago ..... when I can't find others guesthouse to stay coz it's peak season.

It was too hot, and I hv a terrible headache jes after I finished my last touch up. Got to take 2 pain killers and took a nap ..... I told my mum, ever heard ppl fall sick becoz of painting a room ??? Well, I'm almost the one.

But it was great to hv a new look of the room for a new year ..... hemmmm, got to think of some decoration on the blank wall too ....B)PICT0111

Amazing Race Asia

by tc_how @ 2007-01-18 - 10:39:00 pm

Tonight watched another delighted show of Asia own version of Amazing Race ...... without Andy & Laura around, seems like the air is also clearer now ;).

All the 4 teams are equally good, Sandy & Fran are always quick when comes to the physical task. And poor Mario & Mardy ..... but luckily it's not the elimination round this time. These 2 Singaporeans jes keep my brother & I laughing all night long.

I hv been following this series for a long time, and when it was open for Asia team .... I quickly msged my friend and asking if anyone is interested to take part. But I suppose the determination is not that strong after all ...... but it never stop me from enjoying the Asia version.

What I like the Asia version better than the America version is ....... it's a fair play, and u don't hv to see "much" of the dirty tricks or eventually become a "Survivor" show. Maybe it will show at the end, but till now I'm enjoying it very much ...... coz at least not 1 team till now goes separate way after they hv been eliminated, and it happens all the time to the America version. They forget the initial intention to share this amazing experience with the partner they choosen ...... either it be good or bad.

I hope I will be able to join the show too 1 day :DD.

Kerachut, the one time experience

by tc_how @ 2007-01-07 - 09:20:50 pm

The umbrella gangThe gulf of the KerachutThe JettyThe calm sea before ......HL was always mumbling at me, that whenever I ask her to trek the Pantai Kerachut National Park, same time there will be rains, and her house will get flooded. It happens last time, and last night it almost happened again 8|.

Off we go and depart from the mainland at 7smth in the morning, the rains is getting bigger and bigger when we crossed the PG bridge, no sign at all that it will stops, and the sun will comes out to shine. But when we reached the park entrance, the rain become smaller, and we decided to go in with an umbrella on our hands.

I joke to my friends that we're not only gonna exercise the legs muscle, but so as the arm as need to carry the umbrella along the trek. The rainfall is not big insides the forest, as we're protected from the big tree before the rains falls on us.

I hv a steady team here today, everyone is moving in a fast and smooth pace ...... though we need to stop once due to the heavy rains, but later we decided to move on as it doesn't seems like it will get any smaller.

We reached Kerachut beach within an hour trek. Rest ourself at the hut that was prepared by the forest reservation center. Before us, there's already a group of Malay guys packing their stuffs and ready to leave. And also a group of Japanese tourists that seems to just hv their early morning swim.

Not much to do as it's still raining, we just laze and I'm too bored, thus grab some of my tuna sandwiches. PL and I decided to head out to the beach and the jetty to take some photos ...... the rest of 3 just decided to hv their yoga class in the hut :D.

After having our time there, we decided to travel bk with boat, as we feel the situation of the sea is not so rough ......... and we almost regretted on the decision an hour later.

We all boarded to the boat when it comes, as it still raining, thus we all felt chilly as the boat is not covered at the sides, it only got a small roof. As we starts take off, one can imagine all the rain water, sea water started to wash off us, for free :-/. But there's no way you can hide from it.

All of us were concentrating to look at the scene in front of us .....then HL started to shout, there's something on our left handsides. And I see the most marvellous scene in my life ........... a school of dolphins were riding the waves and travel along with us, they came out from the surface. I can see they're dark grey in color, with a round head, and at least 5 of them. The shipper claimed that we're very lucky to hv able to see this creature ........ I try to take some shots, but it is just too difficult when u r in the boat.

They're out of our sight after the 2 minutes spectacular show, and then things started to change at the sea. The waves getting rough, and everytime when I see it hits our boat, I feel hard to breath. I started to grab the chairs where my friend seated in front of us, there was a time so rough that my 2 friends at the front almost thrown down from their seat .......... and that was time everyone keep silent and started to pray.

All I can do ...... is to learn to ride with the waves, and ask my friends at the front to balance themself well so the boat won't flipped over. I started to think of my family, my mum ...... how sorry I am to put myself in a dangerous situation like this. I even thought the dolphins that we saw just now, is somehow to guide us bk HOME.

Luckily, things getting bk to normal after we cross the area, the sea calm down a bit and we actually able to make it to the shore within 15 minutes more.

My legs were a bit shaking after got off from the boat, must be becoz I'm too tense along the ride. And everyone just started to speak out their feeling abt the scary moment, looks like I'm not the only one then to start praying.

The lesson : Try not to trek in the rains, DEFINITELY don't take a boat ride when it rains as the situation of the sea can chg so fast.

Thanks to someone up there who allow us to see the beautiful dolphins, and blessing us to safely reached the shore.

Finally, it's here ......

Now everyone can fly, even further ......
AirAsia had make it bigger this time by announcing the long haul flights, and I can't wait to see the package they're going to offer in this coming February.

But when you think of the consequences at the -ve sides, teenagers who left home today can fly to Manchester anytime, and it will be so difficult of finding them. Distance is not a matter anymore ...... as with little money, now they can easily get out from home if they feel not comfort abt it.

And Taiwan hv their railway system upgraded to link the whole north and south Taiwan together, now with the train, u can go from north to south within 90 minutes ........ so u can hv 1 day trip in Taiwan eventually !!!

It seems like the whole world is try to get as close as possible to each others, physical distance maybe yes ....... but are we really get close to each others ???

I was having lunch with my new colleagues, and we hv comes up with the discussion on marriage culture of different races. I so happens to be briefed abt the Indian arranged by my ex-Indian colleague in Klang not so long ago, so I explained abt it. My new Indian colleague is impressed. But in fact I was not so impressed abt myself, coz I still don't know much abt the Malays, the Sikhs, and even the orang asli culture yet.

Maybe when we are rushing to get the cheap ticket to fly to others countries to learn abt others culture, maybe spend a weekend with a Malay, or others races friends, get to know each others.
